MyApartmentMap is running an interesting blog contestwhere a lucky blogger stands a chnace to win a $50 Amazon gift card.
The rules are simple: Write a review(long or short) about MyApartmentMap.com, post it on your site/blog, make sure you include a link back to our homepage. Then leave a comment on the contest post.
It’s that easy. The contest is running the entire month of May. If you have multiple blogs or websites, you may enter multiple times, the more reviews you write, the better your chances are winning.
Good luck people and stay tuned as the site will be running a new contest every month.

RSS Awareness Day
What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format used to deliver information from websites and pages that get updated regularly. An RSS document (which is called feed) contains either a summary or the full content from a website.
The main benefit of RSS is that it enables people to stay connected with their favorite websites without having to visit them. Once you subscribe to a particular RSS feed, you will automatically receive updates from the website that publishes the feed, whenever they release new content. The video below illustrates the process.

Help Reduce World Hunger
One of the objective this blog was created was to tip you off on freebies and goodies that are freely available on the World Wide Web. It becomes more meaningful when the freebies we found are used to help the hungry, at the same time we learn a few new words too.
We found an online vocab game at FreeRice.com which will donate 20 grains of rice to the United Nations World Food Program to help reduce world hunger for every word a player get right.

FreeRice.com is a not-for-profit organization and the rice is paid for by the advertisers whose names you see on the bottom of your vocabulary screen. Through their advertising at FreeRice, these companies support both learning (free vocabulary for everyone) and reducing hunger (free rice for the hungry).
Play for free to help feed the hungry.

Maiden Post
Welcome to Goodies Hunter! This blog was created primarily to take advantage of and enter into the abundance of online contests offering prizes and goodies galore to be won. Having said that, it is by no means restricted to purely contest posts and nothing else, writings of my daily ramblings and/or sharing the lighter side of lives will be par for the course.
Our motto here is "The Best Things In Life Are Free!"
